The AXIS 207W comes with both wireless IEEE802.11g and Ethernet network interface for flexible installation. It supports the WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK (Wi-Fi Protected Access- Pre-Shared Key) protocols to provide the best security measures for wireless networks. The high performing wireless transmission with a wide coverage range gives users the freedom to place the camera where it is needed, instead of where the network outlet is.
What Beach PC provides...
We will install an Axis 207W Network Camera at home or place of business for the introductory price of only $600. That price includes installation and configuration, to make it work with your high speed Internet connection.
What you provide...
You must provide a high speed Internet conection (such as Bellsouth DSL or Cable "Road Runner") with a "static" IP address (to publish the camera to the Internet), a wireless router (which probably came with your high speed connection), and a standard power outlet for the camera. If you are not sure if you have what you need, give us a call and we will be happy to discuss it with you.
If you don't have a "static" IP address, or cannot obtain one, then Beach PC can use an alternate service (called "DDNS") to publish the camera to the Internet. If this becomes necessary, a different router may be required, and an additional configuration charge will apply.
Recording the Images from the Camera
This $600 offer does not include hardware to record images produced by this surveillance camera. Axis provides a single-user version of their popular Axis Camera Station (ACS) software that will allow you to record images to any Windows-based Personal Computer, providing it has suitable storage space and operating memory (RAM). We will be happy to discuss this option with you.
